About Us

Our son has Down syndrome and LOVES to act.  So we gave him a stage and a starring role in our home version of Beauty and the Beast.  Sixty friends and family cheered, clapped, laughed and cried as they watched him shine.  Several months later we were inspired by another group highlighting a cast of people with disabilities.  It was an outstanding performance, but the hook was how theater had united this community of people. On the drive back to San Antonio, I asked Susan Galindo (University United Methodist Church, Director of Special Needs) if we could put on a show at UUMC.  She said YES, and God put us on a road where there's no looking back.  With a supportive church and community, amazing parents, priceless volunteers and, of course, the STARS of the show -- the community of friends with disABILTIES -- Center Stage Possabilities was born.  We had our first production in February of 2018 (Beauty in the Bible) with a sold-out crowd of 400. God has been the center of it all, and to Him we give all praise and glory! With His blessing, these kids are belonging, growing and learning more about their loving Creator.
